In this place raised itself formerly the hotel of Soissons which was later going to become Blanche de Castille's residence, mother of Saint-Louis. In the course of the centuries, the property is then passed around: Philip the Fair, Charles de Valois, Jean de Luxembourg - son(sons, thread) of emperor Henri VII - or still Catherine de Medici. Afterward, the building becomes the Corn exchange before being transformed into Produce exchange in 1885.
